As the new Headteacher of Wardley C.E Primary School, I am very pleased to welcome you to our small, caring and successful Church of England school. We are proud to be a place where every child is valued as an individual, and where their unique gifts and talents are recognised and celebrated. It is a privilege to support our children as they grow, and we are committed to helping them develop the confidence, skills and enthusiasm they need for the future.

Our school is built on a strong Christian foundation, with God at the heart of all we do. We aim to nurture children within a caring environment, guiding them through Christian values that will support them throughout their lives. Our shared ethos encourages everyone in our school community to do their best and to live out our school motto: “We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us” (Philippians 4:13).

As a small school, we benefit from a close-knit community where children and staff know each other well. These strong relationships help to create a warm and supportive environment, where children feel safe, happy and ready to learn. We believe that when children feel secure, they are more confident to explore, ask questions and develop a love of learning. Alongside academic progress, we place great importance on nurturing character and personal growth, with high expectations for all.

We are very proud of our school and of the achievements of our pupils. I hope this website gives you a sense of the welcoming, positive and aspirational community we are fortunate to be part of.
