Extended School Provision
At Wardley CE Primary School, we have a broad extended schools offer, which includes a Before and After School Club and an array of After School Clubs. Our aim is to balance work and family commitments, whilst offering children a broad range of experiences and inspiring interests.
The Before & After School Club
The before school club runs every morning and starts at 7.30am – 8.40am. Parents are charged £4.00 for the first child and £3.50 for siblings. Children are provided with a breakfast which will consist of toast or crumpet and a drink is also be provided.
After school club starts straight after school and finishes at 5.15pm. Children are provided with a light snack & drink. The charges for the after school club will be £6.50 and siblings will be £5.50.
A contract should be signed by parent/carers & a £10 deposit is required to secure a place. The deposit will be refunded when your child leaves the club after the required 2 week notice. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable. If you are interested in a place then please contact the office for a form.
After School Clubs
We have a good choice of clubs available for families to choose from on a term to term basis. Children at Wardley CE really enjoy our afterschool clubs; both for what the clubs are offering and for the social aspects.
We work closely with our providers to ensure children get the best possible experience on a week to week basis delivered by committed and quality tutors and coaches. Where possible, these tutors and coaches are also supported by existing Wardley staff members.

Sports Club
UK Sports run a range of after school sporting activities for us.
We currently have the following clubs:
Tuesday Year 1 & 2 Multi-sports Club
Wednesday Year 3 & 4 Multi-sports Club

There is no charge for these clubs Places are on a first come, first served basis.
Anthem Music
We have after-school music tution delivered by music tutors from Anthem Music on a Monday and Wednesday.
Monday - Band Club
Wednesday - Guitar Lessons

There is a fee for this club. Lessons are individually priced. Please speak to Athem Music about this.
Drama Club
Monday - Drama club is held in the school hall from 3:15pm - 4:15pm
The club is open to pupils in KS1 and KS2
The club is run by Thomas James who is an outside provider.
There is a fee of £5.95 pw for this club.
Chess Club
Tuesday - Chess club is held in the Y4 classroom from 3:15pm - 4:15pm
The club is open to pupils from Y2 - Y6
The club is ran by Neil Dainty who is an outside provider.
There is a fee of £ 5.50 pw for this club
Art Club
Wednesday - Art club is held in the Y1 classroom from 3:15 - 4:15pm
The club is open to pupils in KS1 and KS2
The club is run by Eira Garner who is an outide provider.
There is a fee of £12.00 pw for this club.
Science Club
Thursday - Science Club is held in the Y5 classroom
The club is run by Naz Umar who is an outside provider.
There is a fee of £10 pw for this club.
