13.09.21 COLLECTIVE WORSHIP - PUTTING TRUST IN OTHERS.
Date: 28th Sep 2021 @ 1:35pm
Over this half-term we are looking at the Christian value of trust. In our collective worship this week we thought about what makes somebody trustworthy. The children had some fantastic ideas:
‘Someone who is trustworthy will help you in times of difficulty like when my friend helped me to ride a bike.’ Blake Y1.
‘I think someone is trustworthy when you ask them to do something and they do it.’ Elliot Y2.
‘I think a good friend is someone who is trustworthy. Someone who is respectful, truthful and helpful.’ Esme Y3.
‘Someone is trustworthy when they help someone who really needs their help. They keep their promises.’’ Jack Y4.
‘I think someone is trustworthy if they are honest and respect you. You can rely on them at all times.’ Faith Y5.
‘If someone is trustworthy it can mean many things. If someone is, or can be, trusted in serious situations they are trustworthy. In some cases you have to tell someone even if you were not supposed to in case you are worried about someone.’ Olivia Y6.
