A note to parents and carers

Hello parents/carers
I would like to say a huge thank you for all your support during this time. I hope you are all well and keeping safe.
I’ve attached some links below to help keep the children busy over the holidays.
The first link is by the brilliant Axel Scheffler who has produced a book for children which explains what Covid-19 Coronavirus is.

The Gruffalo illustrator worked with consultant Professor Graham Medley, two head teachers and a psychologist to make sure the book got the messages right. It answers questions about quarantine, how you can catch the virus and what happens if you get ill.
Publisher Nosy Crow has asked for donations in lieu of payment to go to our fantastic health workers.

Right now, we are living through history. As our memories will fade with time, my sister and niece have decided to complete a Covid-19 time capsule as a keepsake. I’ve attached the link to the PDF booklet they are using, incase you would like to do that with your child too. It is something your child can look back on when they are older.
The kind Joe Wicks is helping to keep our minds and bodies healthy by offering free workouts aimed at children. These sessions last around 30minutes and are on weekedays at 9am.

Furthermore, Cosmic Kids is also a great YouTube channel which is full of fun yoga 🧘♂️ activities and mindfulness for children.

And for story time, the hilarious David Williams is realising an audio book a day for children.

I hope these links help.
Take care and thank you once again for all your support.
