British Science Week 2025 poster competition
Date: 25th Feb 2025 @ 8:09am
The British Science Week 2025 poster competition is now open!
Over the last few years, we have had some fabulous entries from all year groups. We would love for more of the same this year.
The theme this year is ‘Change and adapt’ and is open to all children.
There are loads of STEM topics to be explored. Pupils could create a poster showing how plants and animals adapt to changing seasons or surroundings, or how humans have adapted to changing technology. They could look at climate change and how we can adapt our behaviours to protect the environment, or their favourite science experiment and how it shows change. The more creative the interpretation of the theme, the better!
This year, primary aged children, aged 8-11, who are interested can choose to enter either the ‘Change and adapt’ competition or the secondary special competition category - can you come up with a new idea or invention to improve the health of the air in our buildings?
Posters will be judged on creativity, how well they fit the theme and how well they have been made or drawn. More information will be sent home with each child or please visit www.britishscienceweek.org for further information.
Deadline for bringing your poster into school is Monday 24th March 2025. Please hand your entry to Mr Houston or your child’s class teacher.
