Open Afternoon @ Co-op Academy Swinton

Year 5 spent an afternoon last week at Co-op Academy Swinton. We were spoilt by two fabulous, heart-racing sessions.
The first session held in their fantastic Dance Studio. It was great to see everyone join in and show off their dancing skills. We had the splits, cart wheels and wheel barrows. Even Fred the Red joined in to show off his moves. After many elimination rounds, Jack eventually won the class dance off.
Manchester United Foundation delivered the second event - an engaging and inspiring educational and community sports lesson.
Emeli and Tyler were chosen winners of the sports awards however, all children were a great credit to themselves and our school.
The children had a great afternoon and represented Wardley brilliantly.
