Hello Team

We’ve reached the end of the week and have a beautiful and sunny weekend ahead of us, yay!

I listened to a wonderful book last night called The Word Collector which was read by Barack and Michelle Obama. Barack was once the president (the boss) of America and Michelle was the first lady. 

His wife Michelle had grown up in a poor family and lived in a dangerous neighbourhood. Michelle was told by her teacher that she wasn’t smart enough and wouldn’t get into a good school. This made her feel sad 

However, Michelle worked hard and got into the best college and university (grown up schools) in America! She proved that teacher wrong didn’t she?

Michelle and Barack Obama love  children and have worked hard on making sure that parents understand children need to get lots of exercise and good nutrition (eat well). If children get this, then they can do their best learning and then become whatever they want. Maybe an astronaut who flies through space in a huge rocket? Maybe a hairdresser who styles the hair of the rich and famous like Ariana Grande? Or maybe a detective who solves complexed crimes?
