Media City Visit

On our visit to Media City to complete our geography fieldwork, we looked at what the space was used for and who uses the space.  We completed tally charts, surveys and field sketches.  

We had the best seats in the house for lunch in the Lowry Theatre, with Salford Quays as the backdrop.  The kind people at the Imperial War Museum North allowed us an impromptu visit to the new poppy display.  A number of children and Mrs MacLeod will not be going over the wobbly bridge again.

In our next lesson, we will compare how the area has changed looking at maps and photographs. 

The children's behaviour was superb, and we were even complemented by a teacher from another school.
