Music in Year 6

Year 6 have made a great start their new music curriculum.
They have begun learning about the composer Claudio Monteverdi who created the recitative opera. After listening to opera, they had a go at writing their own recitative operas...the fun part was the performance! Some of them really went for it and their performances were AMAZING!
As we progress, they are now starting to create their own simple notations with a steady beat. We look forward to hearing their compilations in the coming weeks :)
