Happy Tuesday
There was some fabulous writing last week and I enjoyed reading every one of them. I can see that you are all trying to keep up with the skills that you have learnt in Reception. Well done and keep up the good work.

Watch Numberblocks Series 2: Double Trouble to explore the idea of doubling and halving. Identify the spiders that show doubles on the link.

This week we are going to be reading the story, ‘The Selfish Crocodile’ by Faustin Charles.
Read the story ‘The Selfish Crocodile’. You can find it here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-NhjfJ_RZI
Can you draw a picture of the Selfish Crocodile in the river and use a speech bubble to write down something the selfish crocodile is saying and then use a thought bubble to write what you think he is thinking.
You can do this from any part of the story, it might be at the beginning when he wouldn’t share his water hole or it might be when he has tooth ache and needs help.
