Red Nose Day

As always, our children have gone the extra mile for others during today's Red Nose Day. Many children came into school wearing the Red Nose Day t-shirts, red noses and other items to show their support for this amazing charity.

The children have had the opportunity to learn about this special day and the work carried out by the charities involved and supported by donations. In particular, we have looked at, 'Teddy's Story'...a young boy who is visially impaired and has a muscle disorder meaning that he has to use a wheelchair. The children learned all about him and how the money donated to today's wonderful cause will help him and children like him.

We also had a special lunch menu today which the children were happily tucking into when I visited the hall earlier...the 'Red Nose Cakes' looked particularly yummy!

Thank you for all of your kind donations which will be sent away to support this wonderful charity and well done to all our pupils, parents and staff for getting involved.
