Remembrance Day 2020

At 11 O'Clock today, the Y6 children gathered in God's Garden to remember those who have fallen and given their lives for our freedom. As we have studied WWII in class, this year's silence was all the more important to the children.

We held a 2 minute silence before children placed their beautiful poppy pebbles by the cross. Some pupils also read their remembrance poems, which they had taken the time to write at home.

It was solemn yet poignant event and the pupils did us all proud with their respect and understanding.
