Salford Quays Visit

On Monday, Year 5 visited Salford Quays to support their unit of work on urban regeneration.
As part of their geography fieldwork they completed tally charts, surveys and field sketches. Having walked round the whole of Media City and Salford Quays, completing over 10,000 steps, we now have a better understanding of how this fabulous space is being used.
We even managed to escape the cold. We had a self-guided tour of the Imperial War Museum, and had the opportunity to hear some stories behind over a century of conflict.
The children's behaviour was superb, and we were even complemented by a member of the public.
