Salford Quays Visit

Date: 9th Nov 2023 @ 8:11am

Year 5 went a trip to Salford Quays earlier this week.  The pupils completed fieldwork at various locations and they looked at who uses the space and how the space is used.   In the classroom, we will continue to look at the impact of urban regeneration starting with looking at images of the Quays during their prime.

We spent some time in the Imperial War Museum - not just to avoid the rain.  We had an impromptu talk by one of the IWM volunteers, who spoke about the changes of the Quays over the last 80 years.

Once again, the children were a credit to Wardley.  Their behaviour was superb throughout.
