Sports Day
The sun was shining (kind of...), the children were smiling and there were lots of fun activities! As well as being fortunate to have such dry weather, the children showed terrific sportsmanship and great athletics. They all participated in the egg and spoon race, an obstacle course, quoit balance, sack jumping, the baton race and a skipping race.
Since the children have been such gems over this crazy year, working hard and trying their best, I decided to name the groups after gem stones. The gem groups were: sapphire, emerald, ruby and amber.
