Wardley Park Association

This morning our senior pupils paid a visit to our local park to meet with the Wardley Park Gardening Association.

Our Ethos Committee have been in communication with the group for some time regarding how we, as a school’ can support our local community.

The gardeners are all volunteers from our local community who have done a magnificent job in transforming and maintaining our local park, making it a haven for wildlife.

The volunteers kindly took the children on a tour of the park to show them all of their hard work. We listened out for wildlife and saw where birds and a plethora of insects had made their homes within the sanctuary created by the gardeners.

It was a pleasure to listen to the gardeners and we are very grateful for their time and kindness with our pupils.

We even have some budding gardeners in our class!
