World Book Day 2023

A huge thank you to all our children and adults for their support with World Book Day.  It really was wonderful to listen to our children speak so fondly about their favourite books, book characters and reading in general.

Many of our Year 5s would have been up super early to prepare their World Book Day costume.  I have posted a class image so you can see all the fabulous outfits.

A big thank you and well done to those children who took time to produce their reading posters.  We had some fabulous entries.  Year 5 voted for their favourite design.  It was really difficult to choose and every poster received votes.  Max’s design, which promoted many of the benefits of reading, was voted the winner by the class.  His design is now hanging proudly in the school’s reading area.
