World Book Day in Year 2

We had an absolutely fabulous World Book Day in Year 2!  Some children dressed as their favoured characters. We had a couple of Moana's, Coraline, a playful panda, a unicorn rider, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Matilda and Alice in Wonderland.  Other children dressed in their comfiest clothes, that they like to read in.  Lots of children brought their most-loved books into class and a few children made posters about their favourite books or the joys of reading.  We spent the day sharing books, recommending authors, talking about our favourite characters, discussing illustrators and generally immersing ourselves in the wonderful and exciting world of books!
