Thursday 14th May 2020
Good morning Y6...sorry for the late post but I am in school today and as you can imagine, I have a lot of things to sort out with Mr Foster the head teacher.
The sun is definitely starting to shine again and it looks like the temperature is going to rise ready for the weekend - yippee! It might be BBQ time again :)
Thursday's task...when you're ready, are the following:
1. Mathletics and Spellodrome
2. 5 A Day
3. BBC Bitesize – Maths & English games and quizzes
4. Writing Task - Florence Nightingale - in the Homework folder (if you haven’t already done it)
5. Craft Task - South America - in the Homework Folder (if you haven’t already done it)
6. VE Day diary recount - in the Homework Folder (if you haven’t already done it)
7. Discussion – we haven’t had much response to this week’s discussion, so please add a comment if you can.
8. READ - even if it's only for 20 minutes. Tom and George loved the Horrible Histories magazine that arrived yesterday. I’ve left them at home making a Roman Helmet out of cardboard boxes – Goodness knows what the house will look like when I get home!
9. I will upload another writing task at some point today for you to be getting on with.
Thank you, as always, to those of you who have uploaded comments and work...keep them coming. I know that many of you are keeping your work safe and sound in the book that I gave you before we finished, which is great.
Have a wonderful Thursday.
Take care and be safe

George’s Joke for the day:
Why did the teddy bear refuse his pudding?
Because he was stuffed – hahahaha!
