Thursday 30th April 2020
Good morning and welcome to the final day in April…I can’t believe that it is May tomorrow!
Thank you to all of you who have uploaded work and comments in to the Homework and Discussion folders. It really is a pleasure to see your work and to read your comments. We are really missing you all but it is comforting to know that you are getting on so well at home.
Remember that the work set each day is just guidance. Most of the work set can be completed over the week and doesn’t have to be done that day. A little bit of maths, reading and writing each day will help to keep your brains stimulated but I do not want any of you stressing out. Remember that you can always ask me a question on the School Spider or ask your parent to email the school office and I will always get back to you. Just do what you can and try your best; that is all we’ll ever ask of you.
Mathletics
Mr Foster has been busy setting you daily tasks but if you’re struggling with them, just let us know and we’ll re-set the task. We don’t want any tears or stress. It can always be sorted x
Today I would like you to:
- Complete the Mathletics tasks set
- Get on with your 5 A day
- Complete the Spellodrome tasks set
- Complete your Science craft if you haven’t already done so
- Complete your writing task if you haven’t already done so
- Add a comment to the discussion folder if you haven’t already done so.
- Read for at least 20 minutes.
I will add a new writing task tomorrow for you get on with (as I’m in school today receiving my first aid training).
In the meantime, stay safe and happy. Have a lovely day Year 6.
Mrs Walker & Mr Foster xx
