Year 2 Update 12.05.20

Morning Year 2!

I have added a new Mathletics task for you to do today and don't forget about the list of all the other activities that you have access to (see Monday 11.05.20's blog for the whole list).  Remember that there is a deadline for each new Mathletics task of just one week and a deadline for each writing task of 4 days.

I have added a descriptive writing task to the homework page today.  It is connected to this week’s creative task.  You have to write a description of the superhero that you have designed and drawn, so if you haven’t done that yet, get drawing as it is always easier to describe something if you can really see it.   I hope you will enjoy doing it.  I can't wait to read all your “SUPER” descriptions. 

There was some fabulous writing last week and I enjoyed reading every one of them.  I can see that you are all trying to keep up with the skills that you have learnt in Year 2.  Well done and keep up the good work.

It’s raining as I’m writing this and it looks pretty dull outside but I think (and hope) that the rain will clear this afternoon.  So get what you can done this morning, remember you don’t have to do everything every day, and then try and get out for some fresh air later.  Archie and I are going to do all our work and then go to the canal on a bike ride again later.  Have a brilliant day Year 2!
