Morning Year 2!

Hope you all had a good day yesterday.  When you have a look at today's task you'll see it is carrying on the Superhero theme this week.  I have asked you to write an onomatopoeia poem today, something we haven’t really done before.  It sounds scary because of that big word – onomatopoeia – but it is actually fun and I can’t wait to read yours.   

How have you all been getting on with making or drawing your own Superheroes?  I would like to see more of these when they are done.  So, get taking those pics and post them on our homework site.

Archie suggested that, along with this week's theme, we could watch some Superhero films on Friday during our movie night, which I thought was a terrific idea.  So, we are going to watch Big Hero 6 and then the Incredibles, if we have time for both. 

The weather looks a bit nicer today so make sure to get some time outside.  Have a super day Year 2!
