Morning Superheroes!
My “Shout Out” this week goes to all my fabulous Onomatopoeia Poem writers – there are five of you so far, who have uploaded your amazing poems, but I am sure lots more will be uploaded over the next couple of days. The five I have read have been excellent - you should be so proud of your work! I have been absolutely delighted with these poems, particularly as we haven’t done anything like this before.
Well done to you all – you are all FANTASTIC! Give yourselves a massive pat on the back and an onomatopoeic “WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP!” J
Reminder – today is the due date for your “Superhero Descriptions” to be uploaded to that particular homework page. If you haven’t written yours yet, that is ok, you can still do it and keep it safe in your yellow book, but if you upload it to that page after today I won’t be able to see it or comment upon it.
Don’t forget all the other tasks that are there for you to complete. See Monday 11th May’s blog for more details.
The weather doesn’t look great again this weekend but it is promising to brighten up next week. So, once you have done everything you need to do today and had a little bit of fresh air, why don’t you begin your weekend with a movie night tonight, like Archie and I are doing. We’ve got our Superhero movies - Big Hero 6 and maybe The Incredibles - lined up, we’ve got houmous and dips for our treat this week as well as hot chocolate for me and Ovaltine for Archie (his favourite).
