Year 2 Update 20.04.20

Morning Year 2!  Hope you have all had a lovely Easter break and that you got lots of Easter eggs from the Easter Bunny! I also hope that you are enjoying this beautiful sunshine that we are having and getting out for family walks or time in your gardens.  We have had a restful two weeks, eaten too much chocolate but enjoyed our family time.

I have set the new Spellodrome words for this week and you can also access Times Table Rockstars for lots of times table activities and games.  I have also set todays Mathletics task.  Remember Mathletics tasks have a due date set for a week so try and get them done within this time.

Tomorrow, I will be setting a new homework activity in the homework section, where you have the ability to upload your work for me to see.  I can't wait to have a look at all your super writing over the next few days.

But for today, I have started something new which is a Discussion.  This will be a new weekly thing and I hope you will enjoy it.  Please take a look at what this week's discussion is and add your comments.

Lastly, something nice and creative that you can do today is to create a piece of artwork for the new North West Nightingale Hospital.  They have asked children to bring all the colours of the rainbow to a piece of artwork that they can display in their new hospital.  When you have created it you can share it directly with the hospital by tweeting them to @NHSNW using the hashtag  #NHSNightingaleNW

The sun is shining so make sure you also get out after your schoolwork and enjoy the fresh air.  Have a lovely day Year 2.
