Year 2 Update 27.04.20

Morning Year 2!
Hope you have enjoyed the fabulous weather over the weekend. Archie and I had a lovely weekend - played lots of games, had a bbq and a water fight with wahing up liquid bottles - he won! This week's weather outlook does not appear to be as nice, so get out when you can to do some exercise and have a play.
Our theme this week is going to be Space and so, for your creative task, I would like you to create a Solar System. You can build one from junk modelling materials or draw one. I would love to see these uploaded over the week. If you have access to PowerPoint I have included an Interactive Solar System Game you can play. Also there are some Solar System Activity Cards, with lots of information on them and an Activity Hunt sheet too.
Here is a list of everything available this week:
- There is a new discussion activity.
- On Tuesday and Thursday I will add writing tasks.
- I have added a new list of words to Spellodrome for the week. Get someone to test you on Friday with the new word list.
- You have activities to do on Timestable Rockstars
- Each day I will give you a new mathletics task, remember you have a week to do these.
- I have uploaded 5 a day activity sheets - there are three, sheets A - C. You do not have to do all three. You can pick the one you would like to do. Choose Sheet A if you want to be more stretched.
- SOMETHING NEW - You should now be able to access Maths No Problem (if you want some extra maths activites) this week. If you choose to access these extra activities, please do Workbook 2B, Chapter 12, Worksheets 1 to 4, over the week.
