Year 2's Salford Waterways Projects

Our local history study is all about Salford's history, especially the Waterways. Year 2 have been going to see places such as, Bridgewater Canal, Salford Quays and Media City and have done some fabulous artwork, projects and models of the places that they have been to visit.  Anyone who hasn't visited one of these places yet, I would really encourage you to go and have a look at some of the famous landmarks that surround our wonderful city of Salford.  The history is interesting and the children will have lots of fun having a trip out to visit one of our local waterways.
