Year 5 Jodrell Bank Trip

Year 5 visited Jodrell Bank this week to support their learning in the next science unit of work on 'Earth and Space'.
It was a real treat for myself and Mrs MacLeod to take the children - their behaviour, which was commented and complimented on, by a number of staff, was excellent.
We gazed in awe and wonder at the Lovell telescope, had an educational talk on the universe and black holes by a radio wave scientist and were immersed in the importance of the work that continues to happen at Jodrell Bank. The highlight amongst the host of super exhibitions and activities was undoubtably the planetarium.
We had a fabulous day and we can't wait for the next educational visit - The Bridgewater Hall.
