Hello Year 6 I trust Monday was a productive day. Aside from checking your work, and doing other school stuff, I went shopping (which I hate) to sort out tea for everyone including my mum. On that note, I must tell you that on Sunday we ordered KFC – I was so excited. A 14 piece bucket between me and my two (grown up) boys – it was ace!
Well in the words of Mrs Walker, your tasks today are: ‘…the usual really’
Spellodrome & Mathletics
- Your new spellings are up and running and I have set new Mathletics tasks this morning. (deadline Wednesday 12:30pm)
- MNP – Unit 9 lesson 2 (describing a pattern); don’t get scared by the letters we use in algebra they are just unknowns!
- Carry on with 5 a day
- Craft Task – posted yesterday and already some lovely examples posted
- 5 A day – Homework Folder – this week’s calculations have been uploaded.
- New Writing Task has been set today and will be in the homework folder
- Don’t forget the discussion task. My favourite book is Lord of the Rings
- BBC Bitesize – have a good look at their GPS and maths games and quizzes to revise many of the areas that we’ve already covered this year.
- Read for pleasure :)
