Zoolab
In this active learning session from Zoolab, the children had a rich experience of getting up close and personal to a range of mini-beasts, such as: stick insects, African land snails, centipedes, a tarantula and a snake!
They thoroughly enjoyed holding, touching and observing the animals. We were so impressed at how brave they all were - every child touched at least one mini-beast!
As well as getting to see the animals, the session emphasized what was needed to care for them in terms of shelter, warmth, food, water and protection. The children also learnt about the importance of respecting all living things.
Well done for taking risks and being brave Team 1!
