Year 6 Visit Manchester United
Class: Year 6 Year: 2018-2019
Year 6 visited Old Trafford on Monday 19th November to support them with their, ‘Reds Go Green’ environmental campaign.
Whilst at Old Trafford, the year 6 class collected and sorted litter and were sponsored per collected item. The children managed to collect and sort nearly 500 pieces of litter and have raised £250 for the school’s charity, ‘Winston’s Wish’.
Later in the day, they learnt about how Old Trafford was affected by WWII before taking a look around the museum and then going around on the stadium tour.
Year 6 had an interesting and exciting day out and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip – even though it pained some of the City fans!
