Good mornning!
I hope that yesterday was a good day for you all!
I had a bit of a funny hour yesterday. Whilst I was busy cleaning my house, I left the back door wide open for some fresh air. All of a sudden, I heard Cooper the dog start barking outside like a crazy thing and so I ran out to see what was the matter. It turns out, my next door neighbour's rabbit had escaped from its hutch, hopped into my garden and Cooper was barking at the rabbit whilst hiding on the garden table! I then spent a very strange time chasing my neighbours rabbit around the garden trying to catch it so that I could return it to my neighbours.
Has anything funny happened to you whilst you have been staying at home? Post it in the discussion if you want your friends to know about it.
Now, for today's challenge... Today I would like you to have a go at answering questions using different types of question words. Since it is another beautiful day, I would like you to choose your favourite story book, take it outside into the garden and ask Mummy or Daddy to read it to you. They will ask you questions throughout the story for you to answer. How many can you answer?
For Mums and Dads, I have attached a 'Reading at home' information sheet to give you ideas about the types of questions you ask as different questions pose different levels of challenge. There is also information about some amazing resources that have become available online to support home learning.
Happy reading and have a lovely weekend boys and girls. I will post again on Monday with another update.
