Spring Term 1

It feels strange naming this half term, 'spring' as it is extremely wintery out there! Welcome back to your third half term of the year which will take us to the half way point.

You now all have access to the CGP revision books and it has been wonderful to see so many of you working in them. It is also amazing to see all the work that you have completed at home. Remember that you can bring your revision or study books into school at any time.

Weekly spellings and Grammar work will continue to be sent home every Monday.

Reading is going well with all pupils completing at least 3 novels in the last term - though some have read many more. Remember that your child can change their book whenever they need to and they can read books from home as well as those we offer in school. Please keep a log of their reading on BOOM Reader.

We have lots to get through this half term including the start of new history and georgraphy units. The Windrush Generation is already proving to be a hit with the children.
